This Quickstart provides quick and easy assistance. Jellox is set up for operation for the first time with the help of this Quickstartt.

Delivery condition and prerequisits 📦

Thank you for choosing Jellox. You will find the scope of delivery in your packaging according to your order. You can check the completeness of the order against the delivery slip.The following scope of delivery is available for Jellox:

Jellox requires server version 52v007 or higher. Please contact Microtronics Support if your myDatanet server does not meet this requirement.

Set Jellox to operating mode 🛠️

First, the antenna is mounted on the connector provided.

Connect the analogue sensor of your choice using the 7-pin connection cable.

Trigger connection 📡

Jellox is delivered in the operating mode “transport”.

In order to manually trigger a connection of the Jellox, the magnet included in the scope of supply is required. In the next step you activate Jellox and set the operating mode to “normal”.
To do so, the magnet is held on the intended button for at least 3 seconds until the airplane icon is replaced by a circle.

Jellox attempts to establish a connection to the remote sensors. This may take a few minutes and is indicated on the display by the Bluetooth symbol.

Once Jellox has established the connection to the remote sensors, the display shows the measurement values of the remote sensors.

The measurement data displayed is based on the default settngs of the sensors. These settings can be configured in the site itself.

Create a site 💻

The site represents the digital twin of a measurement device. Further information is provided in the user manual.

The site is created via the web interface of the server. This function is available after logging in to the web portal.

The following wizard will guide you through the creation of the site. The wizard is opened with the “+” symbol.

The wizard allows you to navigate forwards or backwards. Please follow the wizard through all the steps. At the end of the wizard, the “Done” area shows you a summary of your selection. By confirming the summary, the site will be created and is subject to the fees selected.

The number of steps in the wizard is based on your current server configuration. Steps (4) & (5) may therefore be displayed differently.

Activate analogue input 🔧

The configurations of the site are synchronised with the measurement device with each connection. The behaviour of the measurement device is set with the site configuration.

The analogue input is activated and configured in the site configuration.

After saving, a new connection must be triggered using the magnet in order to transmit the setting to the Jellox.

Obtain first measurement data 📊

Before the measurement data appears on the server, please wait 2-3 minutes for the first measurements to be carried out. In addition, a new connection must be initiated using the magnet.
