Quickstart - Jellox Analogue

This Quickstart provides quick and easy assistance. Jellox is set up for operation for the first time with the help of this Quickstartt.

Delivery condition and prerequisits

Thank you for choosing Jellox. You will find the scope of delivery in your packaging according to your order. You can check the completeness of the order against the delivery slip.The following scope of delivery is available for Jellox:

  • Quick start guide

  • Delivery slip containing a listing by commission and composition of measurement system

  • Packaging material with information on commission and composition of measurement system

  • Devices (according to commissioning and measurements systems)

    • 1x Jellox data logger

    • 1x antenna according to order

    • 1x 7-pin connection cable

    • 1x Magnet

    • up to 4 remote sensors according to order

      • Radar sensor

      • Gauge sensor

  • User manual Jellox

Jellox requires server version 52v007 or higher. Please contact Microtronics Support if your myDatanet server does not meet this requirement.

Set Jellox to operating mode

Connect the analogue sensor of your choice using the 7-pin connection cable.

Trigger connection

In order to manually trigger a connection of the Jellox, the magnet included in the scope of supply is required. In the next step you activate Jellox and set the operating mode to β€œnormal”.
To do so, the magnet is held on the intended button for at least 3 seconds until the airplane icon is replaced by a circle.

Triggering first connection

Once Jellox has established the connection to the remote sensors, the display shows the measurement values of the remote sensors.

Create a site

The site is created via the web interface of the server. This function is available after logging in to the web portal.

The following wizard will guide you through the creation of the site. The wizard is opened with the β€œ+” symbol.

Activate analogue input

The analogue input is activated and configured in the site configuration.

Obtain first measurement data

The symbol circled in yellow is the report template that is supplied with the site. It displays the historical data of our Jellox.
