1. Delivery condition and prerequisits

Thank you for choosing Jellox.

a. You can check the order against the delivery slip to ensure it is complete.

  • Quick start guide

  • Delivery slip with listing by commission and composition of the measurement system

  • Packaging material with information on the commission and composition of the measurement system

  • Devices (according to commission and measurement system)

    • 1x Jellox data logger

    • 1x antenna as per order

    • 1x 7-pin connection cable (optional)

    • 1x magnet

    • up to 4 remote sensors as per order

      • Radar sensor

      • Gauge sensor

  • Jellox user manual

b. Unpack the radar sensor and position it so that the radar antenna points towards the ceiling.

3. Commissioning Jellox

Tap the supplied magnet for at least 3 seconds on the indicated position to set the Jellox to operating mode “normal”. When establishing the connection, the aircraft symbol is replaced by a rotating arrow symbol.

Once the connection is complete, the symbol with rotating arrows disappears again. If the display switches off in the meantime, it can be reactivated with the magnet. To do so, briefly tap the magnet on the position indicated in the video.

4. Creating a site

a. Log on to the Server.

You will receive the login details and the credit for the server from your responsible sales partner.

 

 

b. Open the wizard.

  1. Create a new site

The serial number can be found on the type plate at the rear of the Jellox and on the packaging.

 

 

 

c. Create the site.

1 Activate the checkbox to switch directly to the input mask for configuring the site.

5. Activate and configure analogue input

a. Select the Select the appropriate mode for your analogue sensor

b. Configure the limits

c. Switch to the tab “Configuration“ (3) and set warmup time and voltage.

d. Save your settings

e. Trigger a connection to transmit the settings to the device.

FAQs

Please actuate the reed switch for at least 3 seconds until a complete connection is triggered. (Symbol with rotating arrows appears)

Jellox requires a server version of 52v007 or higher. Please contact Microtronics Support, if your myDatanet-Server does not fulfil this requirement.

A connection with the Jellox is triggered by tapping the magnet on the designated spot for at least 3 seconds.
